About

ABOUT CLAUDIA

A third-culture kid raised by a family of artists and art dealers, Claudia Li grew up between cultures and disciplines, developing a deep love for both fashion and painting at an early age. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts before moving to London to study Fashion Design at Central Saint Martins, then to New York to complete her MFA in Fashion Design and Society at Parsons School of Design.

Before launching her eponymous label in 2015, Claudia honed her skills under acclaimed designers, working with Brandon Maxwell at Haus of Gaga and later with JW Anderson. Her collections-known for their sculptural silhouettes, emotional storytelling, and bold use of color-reflect her fine arts background and intuitive understanding of form and texture.

Claudia's work has been exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in In America: A Lexicon of Fashion, and worn by cultural icons including Michelle Obama, Lady Gaga, Bella Hadid, Kendall Jenner, and Venus Williams. She is the recipient of the Fl Rising Star Award, was a U.S. finalist for the International Woolmark Prize, and was named a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree in Art & Style in 2017.

Now splitting her time between New York and New Zealand, Claudia continues to build her collections with the support of her atelier in New York City, and in collaboration with some of the best ateliers in Italy and Aotearoa New Zealand.
